Writing update

This is the part where I apologise.

If you’ve read Augustine, you’ll know it’s taken me a good while to complete Book Two – Azrael. And it still isn’t complete (I can sense the eyeballs rolling from here). But, in my defense, I haven’t been sitting idly around. Far from it. Also in my defense, Augustine started out as a stand-alone book (just a simple ghost story would you believe?) which then morphed into a five-book series, and then, somehow, without intention, became part of a wider universe that now encompasses the Rise of the Nephilim. And it doesn’t stop there either, but there are some things I prefer to keep under my hat. At least for now.

However, there is some good news. You can now purchase or grab for free my short story introduction to the Rise of the Nephilim, and Book One in the series – The Awakening of Jessica Meadows – is in the final stages of editing. On top of that, Book Two in the series (title yet to be disclosed) is halfway through the first draft.

And all the above – together with revamping the website – is why Azrael has taken way longer than anticipated. That, and the fact that I can’t seem to write anything straightforward or simple! Ghost story might be how I started out, but epic fantasy is clearly where I was headed.

But fear not – Azrael IS on its way. At 3/4 complete we’re nearly there. And the next 3 books in The Knights of Aster Series are all plotted and ready to go.

All I have to do, is write them!
